A private development for Kingsdart Projects Ltd comprising of 11 two and three bedroom luxury apartments designed in the form of two blocks of accommodation set within an old quarry site in Kingsbridge.
The site gives scenic estuary views to the South at a certain height and so it was proposed to incorporate parking both around and underneath the building given the tight site, thus enabling the benefit of elevating the accommodation floors to maximise these views.
The scheme’s contemporary yet simple palette of vernacular materials responds well to planning constraints placed upon this site and as such provides a sensitive addition to the streetscape as you exit Kingsbridge alongside the estuary.
