The site of a former expansive bungalow, it was the wish of the developer to remove the former building and divide the site for two large, contemporary new dwellings that would maximize the potential of the southerly aspect and the far reaching views of Start Bay.

The levels required a solution which would look to position the living accommodation at first floor with an extensive terrace area to make the most of the aspect and views. The design provides four bedrooms and garaging at lower and separate levels which offers an overall flexible and spacious layout.

The scheme proposes complimentary materials and the extensive use of glass and sliding glass screens enables the interior of the building to open up to the terrace area and break down the usual boundaries between the interior and exterior that more traditional glazing and doors can leave.
